600 Families Food-Secure Year Round


This project has assisted nearly 600 rural families with crop selection and introduction in rice fallow area. enhancing their productivity by three to four times and ensuring year-round food security. Nearly 400 families grow pulses and oilseed crops in four times around the year, such as moong, arhar, chana, mustard, summer mong, summer urad. These oilseed and pulses crops in barren land and rice fallow area give an opportunity to farmers for extra income and  that not only add to their incomes but also help the participating farmers augment nutritional benefits from.
