The project “Improving Pulse Biodiversity in Rice Fallow Areas of Tribal Belts of Central and East Indian States to bring Resilience in the Farming Practice, Provide Livelihood Support and Enhance Nutritional Level of the Tribal Population” creates a huge impact among the communities of Bihar and Jharkhand for taking some initiatives that are sustainable. Because of this project, along with direct outcomes several indirect outcomes have also been observed from which the tribal communities of the states will be able to make their own identity in the organic/sustainable agriculture areas in the near future. This is an example of integrated rural development which would support to enhance the economic conditions, nutrition of the tribal farmers and biodiversity. The mentioned case studies reflect some success stories of such farmers who have already created a huge impact under this project.
